1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Keeper Pet Safety Check-In ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Keeper is a personal safety check-in app designed to help pet owners stay accountable. If you do not check in within your chosen time window, the App will send alerts to your designated guardians via email and/or SMS.

3. SMS Alert Limitation

SMS alerts are currently available for Australian mobile numbers only. Email alerts are available worldwide.

5. Subscriptions

Keeper offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and managed by RevenueCat. Prices are displayed in the App before purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's standard refund policy.

6. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial of Keeper Pro. After the trial period, you will revert to the free tier unless you subscribe.

7. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring that guardian contact details are accurate and up to date.
• You must obtain consent from your guardians before adding their contact information.
• You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within Keeper is the property of Stechbds. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stechbds and Kwokwaiyip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any failure to deliver alerts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Keeper work?

You press "I'M SAFE" once a day to confirm you and your pet are okay. If you miss your check-in window, Keeper automatically sends an alert email (and SMS for Australian numbers) to your designated guardians.

What happens if I miss a check-in?

When your check-in window expires, Keeper sends an emergency alert to all your guardians. You will also receive warning notifications at 4 hours and 1 hour before your window closes.

How do I add or remove a guardian?

Tap "Guardians" on the main screen. You can add, edit, or remove guardian contacts at any time. Pro users can add up to 3 guardians; Free users can add 1.

SMS alerts are not being received — why?

SMS alerts are currently available for Australian mobile numbers only. If your guardian has a non-Australian number, they will still receive email alerts. International SMS support is planned for a future update.

How do I change the check-in window length?

Custom check-in window lengths (other than 24 hours) are a Pro feature. Tap "Settings" → "Check-In Window" to adjust. Upgrade to Pro to unlock this feature.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Keeper to cancel or change your plan at any time.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Keeper → Settings → tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data (check-in history, streak, settings). Guardian contact data stored on our server can be deleted by contacting us at support@stechbds.com.
